Good point about the ethics RT - I bow to that reasoning! I have long had a policy of not permitting copies of my Banco CDs.. No really, I say, "yes you can have a copy, go to banco.co.uk on your computer!" - Some people really deserve to have their music ripped off, but I never seem to want those CDs. But if music is otherwise unobtainable.. That would be different! Deep Forest - World Mix
yes, its hard not to copy things for mates/get copies off mates when the cd's are as rare as rocking horse shit!
oh.........almost forgot............... gong "expresso II" (the pierre moerlin trilogy is my favourite gong era)
wizards of twiddly "live at the zanzibar" (erm, i am truly speechless- this is the best thing i have heard in a long long time)
FSOL Papua & New guinea 6 track single!, 93/94/95 were the best years of the 90's for great music!
purely for the name 'wizards of twiddly' I HAVE to search that one out...
si, check their myspace out!
Between Worlds - Temple Hedz What a great album.... you can buy it here; www.templehedz.co.uk :)
Back to Bellowhead's Buresque this week and OTT Blumekraft for Good measure
Napalm Death "Scum" i've got to catch up with napalm death's more recent stuff, as i'm gonna be seeing them in 3 weeks time. i've never stage dived in my life, i'm 30 now, so maybe this will be my time! the thought scares me, though.
have napalm death done some recent stuff?.. as for stage diving i found bungy jumping about the same thrill without the boot in the face... (never been to a NIN gig since)..
Hot Chip
testament- "the legacy"....thrash metal at its best!
and on a more 'chilled' note: feed your head vol. 2.......that makyo track is awesome!
the sound of wellington boots squelching through mud. Oh and Mirror System (SHillage&MGiraudy) were very nice at the Spiral Chill cafe late Friday night.
We know you love the mud really! ;-)
eat static- "bony incus (mucor mix)"

Orbital live at Glastonbury 1994 - 2004 Its all good
my new purchases today: SSS- "SSS", thrash metal on earache records ...and... Joi- "Without Zero" just digesting the contents before i make my judgement, but both sound good....... ripping them to laptop at moment.
on an orbital note.. the other day I found my cassette of them new years eve at alexandra palace.. still love it even after 10 years ...
I have that tape ! That's where they do Chime at the end, mixed in with Big Ben !!! It was on the radio on New Year's Day wasn't it?! I must dig that out when I get home! Listened to Royskopp's Melody AM the other night. Its very sweet to rediscover little things you like.
thats the one!! its fab stuff.. love the big ben warping after the New Year chimes!!
Andreas Vollenweider - "Caverna Magica" (...under the tree - in the cave...)
Smashing Pumpkins - a return to the Rock Days
rootsman "intifada" what a splendid track (off the planet dub compilation)
Josh Ritter - The Animal Years - especially Monster Ballads
SSS- "SSS" i mentioned this a few posts ago. honestly, it's the best thing since sliced bread. ok it's not global dance but it is high grade music. its good to have a good mosh and get your frustrations out- and at the end of the day, everyone's got a little bit of angst in 'em..... great for when you've just watched the news and seen some slime ball like david cameron kid on that he's gonna save us all. thrash metal is a good tool for maintaining sanity in this crazy world, and when you've got the anger out, stuff like banco sounds even better!!!!! get me kids?
The Hedgerow Crawlers - On the Verge (fave song - Horses don't move hippies, coppers do!)
Oh, and both Loonaloop albums coz I'm off to see them live this weekend and I'm ded excited!!!
I saw "3GPO" on Saturday, which was nice & listened to a lot of good sounds in a field! ;-) But @home, it's mostly been.. Orbital - Diversions (US CD 1993)

Celtica - Luminous (btw, 2 former members of Celtica have formed Honky Dub Inc, only info on myspace at the mo but they are playing KULU (Bradford) in November...woooooooooo)
the latest solid steel podcast... a mix by some fella called Brian Munich.. top stuff.. if you want a listen paste this link into your podcast receiving type software thingy... http://www.ninjatune.net/solidsteel/rss.xml ooh and a few 2 many dj albums courtesy of some dodgy download website...
Gaudi - Dub Quwwali - Top stuff!! Single Quwwali singing as opposed to group singing/chanting. Reminds me a little of the Temple of Sound/Rizwaan album that was produced about 7 years ago. Mental reworking of The Model by Kraftwerk with Quwwali overdubbing..
...just downloaded the Dreadzone Soundsystem set from the Glade festie this year, sounding gooooood...
Prong - Cleansing.
jezzyB i was listening to prong recently too great band!
Indeed icemonster. They even have a new opus out sometime in Oct. Sadly Ted Parsons 'aint bashin' the skins on this one.
