Hello,

Got tickets to Musicport now, and looking forward to it.

We saw the set at Beautiful Days last month and had a good bounce along to it. It was a tad loud for the toddler though so we had to stay outside the tent, him fast asleep in his buggy (he slept through Banco, Hawkwind and Levellers that weekend..!)

So what's the Musicport set going to be like? We were all set to go to the RGS gig in London earlier in the summer and were intrigued by the idea of a more ambient affair than the full-on festival gigs. Any chance the Musicport set can be along the lines of what was planned for RGS?

Cheers

I doubt it, we're on late at Musicport so it will be a pretty uptempo affair. If you want a more chilled experience though come to the Dingwalls show on Sunday. The first set (of two) will be mostly slower tunes, performed with other real live human musicians.

Thanks for the reply. No worries, bouncy is always good! Musicport is good for bouncing.

I would really like to get to the Dingwalls gigs but can't make it happen sadly... I shall just have to hope that there will be a recording ...?

Cheers

We missed it! :(

Sorry!

Our lad was doing very well throughout the festival and was sleeping soundly and happily through the evening. Unfortunately he woke part way through Mad Professor and didn't appreciate it... We thought it safest to get him back to the B&B.

So how did it go?

Did you get a chance to see the Tashi Lhunpo Monks on Sunday morning by the way? Marvelous stuff!

Cheers

Nick
