Hi toby, a bit of a request really....

as someone who has only been on the viewing side of a gig, is there any chance of a future blog post that tells us mere mortals of what its like to do a gig - from the booking stage to the loading the van up and driving away stage please?

I've often wondered about the whole gig process, how does it feel to be up there and seeing a load of people dancing to your music? Other things I'd be interested in finding out as well..... what do you do in the hours before a gig when the equipment has been set up? What do you do afterwards?

Obviously there's more to it than just these questions but I would love to know what goes...

Cheers,

Phil.

what happens after the gig??????
what happens after the bloody gig???????

cocaine and groupies...that's what it's all about squire!

and before the gig? lying backstage in a puddle of vomit with the manager, stressing his sorry little arse off, slapping him in the face violently trying to get him to regain conciousness because he doesn't want him to lose him any more money.

who said that rock'n'roll was glamorous?

but maybe im barking up the wrong path... sorry if i speculate incorrectly...

Yes,

what happens after the gig!

After Kendal last year I just got straight off afterwards as they seemed to be ushering people out and then a few days later I hear Toby was in the bar, so is it worth hanging on at other gigs as I've only ever me a few performers afterwards so would lke to know what goes on after a gig. Was invited to go for a meal with the Dandy Warhols when they played locally after meeting them but was scared off by their reputation!

what happens after a gig you ask once more?

it depends on the size of the performer's ego!! ;)

golly here was me thinking Mr. De Gaia's name was Toby and not Pink.

personally, i'd like to think that after the gig involves tea and cakes, but then i am strange...

After a gig it's always a cup of tea.
