Well.. my sister finally got round to having a baby the other day and out of the blue (well it was for me) decided to call her Maya.. So being the good uncle I now am I thought I'd buy them a copy of Maya on cd (thanks Sandy) to introduce a young un to the joys of banco.. it seems though something was lost in translation as they've actually called her Mia so I've decided to keep the new copy as mine is scratched to buggery.. result! (although I promise to do them a best of and convert the little tyke...) how interested are you lot in my familys goings on?.. probably not very but I haven't said hi for a while and I'm a bit drunk on celebrating day 2 of her being here.. tata for now..

Congrats Si, always a great moment to have a new one amongst us. Keep trying to educate in the ways of BdG, a bit young but who knows...some nippers profess to hearing Mozart in their mum's tums.......all the best x

My CDs seem to be fine and keep well.. But then I tend to follow the instructions on care and storage rather than giving them to the dog/cat/monkey/infant/goblin to bury in the garden..

Ha good one SQ! Me too, I still avoid handling the little buggers (CDs that is) and always put them straight back in their litttle sleeves after playing....maybe I'm just a bit sad....my ex used to let hers rattle around in the glove compartment loose with all the other cr*p!

Not sad at all, CDs are sacred, I even had a home for them built specially.
Got a huge wallet thingy full of burnt copies of all the originals which comes on journeys in the van (the cars that old it still has a cassette player - which is good as the ipod connects nicely)

Sadly my original Maya was knicked but we still have my partners vinyl copy (we had a lot of duplicates when we got together!) and a nice shiny new CD version..

well now in the age of mp3 players my cd can sit lovingly unplayed under the bed!
