OK - at the risk of infringing all those copyrights again.. I am willing to send out some CD-R copies of my CD-R copies (with thanks to Flip) of; Medium, Freeform Flutes & Fading Tibetans, and, Deep Live.. First come, first served.. I will probably be less keen when my supply of blanks runs out and I have to buy more.. Then I may ask someone takes over! ;-) All this offered unless Toby should tell me I really mustn't... So E-Mail me Russell, Mark, or anyone else too fresh on the forum to have got them last year.. or the year before that.. I lost track..
Basically, its a tree thing and we all love trees! Sqmike has very generously made himself the trunk, anyone who takes him up on the offer and has the ability to reciprocate to others (please post so here) will be called 'branches'. Those who don't have the ability to reciprocate will be called leaves.. Toby is of course the 'root' and thus the lovliness is spread like a burgeoning willow...
Hey Flip! Just popped in between festies? :-D This does have a seasonal aspect to it's growth, so it would seem.. So if Toby is the root, a squirrel is the trunk and 'they' are the canopy, what does that make you Flip? ;-) Thanks to whoever planted the seed, I don't remember, lets grow this tree like topsy! You gotta love trees, just look around you..

A bit of a latecomer to the party, but directed to the forums by Toby. Does anyone know where - or even if it's still possible - to get downloads/cd-r's of the three early cassette releases and maybe even the Desert Wind ep? I suspect there are some legal-type issues preventing them being "officially" released? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks all!
Well I'm still a leaf I'm afraid due to lack of technology but still grateful to Mikey's trunk for supplying these three wonderful CDs. Hey Mikey do your copies flip out a coupla times, once on Medium and once on Deep Live I think? Not sure if it's a blip from the burn or a fault in the original tapes.
I have taken these matters up with the "latecomer" and the "still leaf" via the e-mail.. ..any more for any more?
By " Desert Wind ep " - do you mean other than the CD Single available mail order mokofil?
I've got the cd single (many thanks, banco mail-order people!), but I'm sure that I recall from my fresh-faced days of youth, spying a "Desert Wind Remixes" ep with 4 or 5 mixes? Perhaps the 90's lifestyle has clouded my memory somewhat... Oh, and many thanks for your kind assistance in "the other matter", sqmike. My your acorns never go stale. Once received, I'll happily post on here to aid in the distribution network to any deprived souls in need of creamy Banco goodness.
Yep, a clouded memory I'm afraid. There are quite a few different versions of Desert Wind on various compilations but the one we sell is the only single/EP.
Thanks for that Toby - my fevered brain playing tricks again, obviously! Incidentally, is there any discography anywhere listing remixes of your tracks on compilations? I've got all the "Ambient Dub" ones, and the "10 Years Remixed" collection, along with a few others; but it would be nice to see what else I can hunt for on ebay! Many thanks for a fantastic body of work - "Last Train to Lhasa" is one of the greatest albums of the 90's (and I'm lucky enough to have the 3CD edition).

I heard that in 1995 Toby achieved enlightenment and ceased to exist on the physical plane..
i've got a beyond records ambient dub vol 2 on vinyl in very good condition. Seems to have been re-released and entitled 'earthjuice'. i no longer have a record deck so......... got two banco tracks and other artists like HIA, original rockers and GOL. it's the sound of the nineties. i no longer have a record deck and this slipped through the net when i was digitizing my collection a while ago......... if anyone's interested e-mail me on spatializeinfo@aol.com otherwise i'll have to put it on e-bay. neil
